Our Pastor and his family
Pastor Mike Weiler was born in Evansville, Indiana December 18,1974. His family moved to Vincennes, Indiana where he was rasied. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist church where he accepted Christ as his savior at the age of 15. He is a 1993 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High school. After graduating high school his family moved to Columbus, Indiana where he met his wife Donna. They were married June 21st 1997. In September 1997 he became employed with Cummins Engine Co. Mike surrendered to the lay ministry under Pastor Scott Bourland who was pastoring Columbus Baptist Church in columbus Indiana. After 12 years serving as a lay minister in various roles from Sunday School teacher to youth Leader, to Fill in preacher, Mike felt the call to full time Ministry work. On May 9th 2009 Mike was ordained into the gospel Ministry by Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Seymour Indiana. On may 10th 2009 he was called to pastor Hebron Regular Baptist Church in Bloomington Indiana. After serving as her pastor for a little over a year Mike was called to the mission field where he was led to Brownstown Indiana to start a work.
Mike has three sons, Donovan, David, and Daniel. all three are students at Brownstown Community Schools. Donovan is a very active part of the church, and a great student at the school. David and Daniel are both great kids and are active in their schools. Donna is a Graduate of Brownstown High School, and has a Business Degree from Oakland City University. She is currently a stay at home mom who does a fantastic job raising the kids.
It is their passion to see a church that teaches a personal relationship with Jesus to be planted in Brownstown. It is their hope to link with the Brownstown leadership to continue the Family traditions that have been a part of this community.
